To follow your plan and track progress, you should add accounts to One Goal. You can track your account balances manually - or link your accounts to auto-import transactions and account balances.
Yes, One Goal’s is specifically designed to help you have control of your budget from all streams of income and transactions. You can link multiple accounts including checking, savings, and credit lines to your One Goal account. We encourage all of our users to balance their credit card balance with their cash - this way you don't ever spend money that you don't have!
Yes! One Goal uses Plaid to securely connect to your bank and credit accounts (If you use Venmo, you've used Plaid before). Plaid links to your accounts and all your transactions are securely protected within the app and only accessible by you.
You can manage and add accounts in the “Accounts” tab on the app.
Yes! You can also manually track your transactions in One goal without connecting to a bank account.
1. Go to the accounts tab
2. Tap the plus in the top right
3. Tap "Add manual account"
4. Give it a name, and set it's balance.
**Now you can manually create transactions from within your spending categories**
1. Go to the Budgets tab
2. Tap on a category
3. Tap "create transaction"
4. Give it a name, amount, and other details you'd like.
5. Remember to select the account before saving the transaction - this will update the account balance AND your category balance.
